Avocado-chicken bowl

Hello everyone!

With this recipe you can make a perfect lunch! When you’re at work or in school it is sometimes hard to stay motivated and concentrated for the rest of the day after lunch. It is therefore very important that your lunch gives your body sufficient nutrients, so that you can focus and work efficiently for the rest of the day. To help you with this, I will show you an easy to make and tasty recipe you can easily take with you to work or school. Warmed up or cold – both ways it tastes delicious!

This dish provides you with everything you need – energy, healthy fats and a good taste! The avocado is full of unsaturated fats, which among other things lowers your cholesterol level, the rice keeps you full for a long time and the chicken gives you a lot of protein. Mixing these three ingredients with a phillicious sauce makes your day brighter! The recipe is very easy to make and can already be prepared the day before, so that you can take it to work without having to cook in the morning. Enjoy!

Avocado-chicken bowl

Tbs: tablespoon

Tsp: teaspoon


For two people:


  • 150 g rice
  • 100 g chicken
  • 9 tsp. soya sauce
  • juice of ½ lemon
  • ½ tsp. ginger
  • avocado
  • sesame
  • salt and pepper

  1. Cook the rice
  2. Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces and fry it in some oil. Season it with salt and pepper. When it’s done, add 5 tsp. of soya sauce and mix everything together. Put aside.
  3. Pour 4 tsp. of soya sauce, lemon juice into a cup and mix it. Add the ginger.
  4. Slice the avocado in small pieces.
  5. When the rice is finished, put it on a plate, pour the soya-lemon sauce on it, add the chicken and the avocado and top it with some sesame.


This is all you need to do for a healthy lunch! And this is definitely better than a bought sandwich. I hope you enjoy eating it!
